Photography-based installation

Developed for Non-Native Native Fair at Framer Framed, Amsterdam. The work combines an analogue photography series with approximately 30 potted Fatsia japonica plants, grown from seeds collected from my garden. The plants and photographs bring together different forms of cultivation, movement, and adaptation, reflecting on what it means for a plant, and by extension a person, to grow and take root in an unfamiliar environment.
