Artist’s book / sculptural photobook

I developed Tuin is the message through NoR, a residency programme I co-organised with Tianyi Zheng at VTV Tuinderslust, bringing together four local and international artists. The book brings together my photographic documentation of the artists and their processes during the residency.

I designed the book as a readable sculpture, where photography, folding, and the physical movement of the pages shape how the work is encountered. Each spread folds differently, creating changing spatial configurations and inviting the reader to explore the book through handling, unfolding, and reading. The book is made to be experienced as both a photographic work and a physical object.
